The Company where my Wedding Ring was purchased filed Bankruptcy – now I have no Warranty on the ring. Help?

The Jewelry Company where my husband bought my Wedding Ring (and Wedding Band) filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, which means that the *Lifetime Warranty* on my diamonds (that my husband purchased with the rings) is no longer valid.
What can I do to get insurance on my Diamond(s)?

I love my wedding ring set and I am afraid that I'm going to snag it on something and the center diamond is going to fall out and I have no Warranty to fall back on.

Is there any way I can purchase a warranty on the diamond(s) through another Jewelry store and get some kind of diamond guarantee similar to the one that my husband purchased with my rings?

With my other warranty, I was expected to bring the rings in every 3 months to be examined. I did take my rings in for the routine examinations, but without notice or warning, the Jewelry store chain closed all of their stores.
Now I am left without any warranty on my rings!

I would continually have my rings cleaned and checked by the company where they were purchased, but now that they are gone, I feel bad taking my rings to another jeweler every few months to be cleaned and checked when they are not the ones who sold them. I feel like they are doing me a service that they haven't been compensated for.
I always offer to pay to have them cleaned, but they always decline.

I want to purchase a new warranty on my diamonds from a specific store where I can also have them checked and cleaned. Is this possible?

I love my rings and I want to know that they are under a warranty. I also want to be able to feel comfortable taking them to the same store to be checked and cleaned without feeling that I am putting someone out because they are not being compensated for their time.

Here is an article about the Bankruptcy:

  1. wedding ring set

I have mine covered under the household possessions on my renters insurance. :) Check into that, or the homeowners ins as mentioned. It’s not very expensive.
