do men get 2 different rings an engagement ring and a wedding ring or do u just use the same ring for both and if u get 2 different ones which is which? like one with diamonds and then one just regular plain band with nothing special??? im sooo confused please help

Men dont get an engagement ring. Girls do (the engagement ring is the one with the diamond). On the wedding day is when the second ring is given to the girl and the man gets his wedding ring.

My husband has his wedding band that has diamonds in it and then a cheap gold band from Wal Mart to wear to work so his good band doesn’t get all screwed up.

They are also common if the girl proposes, or with same sex couples. He can have an engagement ring if that is what you’d both like, however it isn’t necessary.

My fiance wanted to get used to wearing a ring since he didn’t wear one already so a month after we got engaged, I got him a fairly simple band that he wears on his ring finger on his left hand but will switch to his right hand after the wedding.
